Airtel's Rs 599 prepaid plan offers with Rs 4 lakh insurance: All you need to know
Telecom operator Bharti Airtel has partnered with Bharti AXA Life Insurance to offer a prepaid plan that includes insurance protection cover for its customers. The plan costs Rs 599 prepaid plan and includes a life insurance cover worth Rs 4 lakh from Bharti AXA Life Insurance, besides data and calling benefits.
This plan is right now valid for Airtel prepaid customers in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry . Airtel has said that its availability will be gradually extended to pan-India in the next few months.
Rs 599 prepaid plan: Data, calling benefits and validity
As part of this prepaid plan, Airtel prepaid customers get 2GB data per day and includes unlimited calling benefits to any network. Users also get 100 SMS per day. The validity of this plan is 84 days. “The insurance cover continues automatically for three months with every recharge,“ said Airtel.
Rs 4 lakh Bharti AXA Life Insurance: What you need to know
The insurance cover is available to customers aged between 18-54 years. Airtel claims that its prepaid users will not be required to fill out any paperwork or medical examination. Users will immediately get a digital copy of the insurance and will later get a physical copy delivered to their doorstep soon after.
Recently, Airtel launched high-speed broadband plan called ‘Airtel Xstream Fibre’ that directly competes with Reliance Jio’s Platinum broadband plan. Both plans cost Rs 3,999 per month and offer 1Gbps high-speed data. As part of the Airtel Xstream Fibre plan, the Sunil Mittal-owned telecom operator is offering data as well as calling benefits. Moreover, it also comes bundled with OTT subscriptions. The calling benefits include unlimited landline calls to any network in India. Buyers of this plan will also get an Android-based OTT smart stick paired with an Android-based 4K Hybrid Smart Box to cumulate satellite TV and OTT content. The telco offers 3,333GB data at 1Gbps speed per month and after the limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 1Mbps.
