AIG appoints new head of claims, general insurance for Asia Pacific region

AIG has appointed Steve Gibbs as Asia Pacific head of claims, general insurance.

Mr. Gibbs will report to Mr Steve Agutter, international head of claims, general insurance and Sachin N. Shah, CEO of AIG Asia Pacific. Mr. Gibb’s appointment is effective 13 January 2020.

Steve’s career in the insurance industry spans 22 years. He joins AIG after 8 years at AXAXL where he was most recently head of claims practices for international property & casualty and prior to this Steve served as head of global claims operations across all lines of business.
