LIC Agent Notification 2019 Out; Online Agency Application Registration Started

Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India has published a notification inviting people from different walks of life, to join the organization as an agent. 

Printed in leading dailies today, the LIC Agent notification 2019 was also recently tweeted by LIC India’s official twitter handle @LICIndiaForever. Splashing the headline “Full Time. Part Time. Any Time!”, the insurance company says that being an agent, one can “earn, learn and grow with India’s largest Life Insurance Company”. As per the notification, an agent can work as per their own timings, and also get comprehensive benefit packages. There will be rewards and recognitions. Also, the flexibility will remain in one’s own hands to decide whether to make it a full time career option, or part time. 

There are three ways to register as an agent. 

• One is to sms ‘Agent City-Name’ that is Agent space City-Name, for example ‘Agent Mumbai’ to 56767474. 
• The second way is to register through licindia.in. 
  
• Third way is to contact the nearest LIC branch. 
  

In the tweet posted by LIC India, the direct link for registration of agents has been provided. The direct link is agencycareer.licindia.in/agt_req/index1.php. It is the online agency application registration. New user, that is the prospective LIC agent, needs to first sign up. Existing users can login directly for registration. Sponsors need to go directly to sponserer login for consent. 

Sign up option against the LIC Agent notification 2019 asks for filling up mobile number. From there onwards, one has to fill in the details. Once sign in details are generated, candidates can login at agencycareer.licindia.in/agt_req/index1.php using mobile number and password and fill the rest of the form. 

LIC lists ten benefits of becoming an individual agent, on its website licindia.in. The company says that it is a rewarding career, and agents become part of India’s finest team of insurance agents. Moreover, agents, they say, get attractive remuneration that caters to current as well as future earnings. It is an entrepreneurial activity with the flexibility and freedom of being one’s own boss, and yet there is no individual capital investment required, LIC says. 

All LIC agents are also provided with training, irrespective of whether they have had prior experience in sales and marketing or not. The career agency system of support is in place for all agents of LIC. 

Agents also get access to necessary tools as well as technology at the LIC branches in India. They get to offer 50 product combinations, the pool of which, is growing day by day.  Sales and marketing support, as well as financial strengths are two more benefits listed by LIC for agents. 

LIC is a state owned insurance group. It was founded in the year 1956 and today has its headquarters in Mumbai. IDBI Bank, LIC Housing Finance, Lic Pension Fund Ltd, Lic International, Lic Cards Services, Lic Mutual Fund are all subsidiaries of the company.
