India proposes insurance to cover blast-related damage to buildings

The Indian government has proposed a 1.2 billion Indian rupees ($16.7 million) insurance plan to cover incidental damage to buildings near demolition zones in Maradu in the state of Kerala, The Hindu reported. The plan will not cover small cracks and damage but will indemnify losses that may happen to service networks like telephone towers and other installations.
