Insurance aggregator launches helpline

Policybazaar.com, an online insurance aggregator in India, has launched a dedicated special helpline number to assist people with queries related to coronavirus.

The helpline number 0124-6372005 will be active for all seven days of the week from 10am to 7pm and the service will be available to all, irrespective of whether they have purchased their policy from the Policybazaar.com website or not.

Policybazaar co-founder and group CEO Yashish Dahiya said that it is times like this that reminds us to be nice to each other and at the same time it teaches us the importance of having a robust insurance cover that protects against death, disease and disability.

“During such times, the last thing you want to worry about is about the cost of a medical treatment and how the finances will be organised. That should be left to the experts and the insurance industry,” he said. He asked everyone in the market to consider insurance as a priority area in their lives.
