Mrs. Anamika Roy Rashtrawar appointed as the MD & CEO of IFFCO Tokio General Insurance Company Limited
Mrs. Anamika Roy Rashtrawar has been appointed as the MD & CEO of IFFCO TOKIO General Insurance Company Limited, effective from 27th March 2020 and she will be the first woman MD & CEO of a large private sector general insurance company in India. Mrs. Anamika Roy Rashtrawar takes over from Mr. Warendra Sinha, who retired from the company after leading IFFCO TOKIO successfully for the last three years.
Mrs. Rashtrawar joined IFFCO TOKIO General Insurance as a whole-time director on 1st June 2018. She spearheaded the company’s business transformation project and expanded the company’s operations in tier 2,3, 4 towns. She is a firm believer in building distribution network for increasing penetration of general insurance and simplification of business processes to make Insurance services simple for the customer.

Mrs. Rashtrawar has over 3-decades of experience in the industry and has served in the both public and private sector general insurance companies. She is from the prestigious Lady Brabourne College Kolkata, a postgraduate in English from Kolkata University, Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India, a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter from The Institutes, USA and is also a Chevening Scholar.
