Mr. Sumit Bohra is a Qualified Chartered Accountant. He is the  Principal officer and Whole Time Director of GlobeSecure Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. (earlier known as (IndiaNivesh Insurance Broker). He has good hands on experience in the field of Audit and Taxation. He has been in the Insurance Industry for last 16 yrs and is having varied experience. He has been on the Board of Directors of IBAI for past two years.

Q. What is your priority no 1 as a new president?

My Priority would be to bring in inclusivity amongst the Brokers and make sure the profession becomes the most respected profession by championing the cause of the Policy Holders.

Q. In the present situation how IBAI can help the broker community?

Currently IBAI has a strong team of 16 Directors from PAN India  who has varied and vast experience to handle any situation. We will make sure that the work is delegated amongst all of them to get the best result for our Broker Members.

Q. What are your future plans for the Association?

Association is readying the Blueprint and will announce the same shortly.

Q. Why you think the old team lost the election?

It was a free and fair election evenly contested on the E-voting platform and the Members chose the best of the Directors looking into their background and contribution to the Industry.

Q. What mistake you would not like to do as a president?

IBAI is an SRO, which should be run by the brokers, for the brokers and I will make sure that all the Members are being heard and given their due respect.
