New Zealand launches COVID-19 film insurance scheme

New Zealand’s Ministry for Culture and Heritage has launched a COVID-19 screen sector indemnity scheme to insure 12 screen productions that were scheduled to start production before April 2021, Stuff reported. The productions are being developed by New Zealand-registered production firms that can make insurance claims directly to the ministry if the production collapses due to the pandemic.
