Axa ordered to pay hotelier for pandemic-related losses
The commercial court of Annecy in France has ordered insurer Axa SA to compensate a hotelier-restaurateur in the French commune of Les Gets for COVID-19 pandemic-related losses, Euro Weekly News reported. Axa is ordered to pay €60,000 ($73,059) to the plaintiff. The ruling could prompt thousands of new claims from hotels and restaurants with similar policy.
